- Salary:c£60,000 + excellent bonus + benefits
You will be responsible for managing the group technical services including internal systems and infrastructure (Windows & Unix), and external services to clients.
This will involve day to day management of the services team over 2 locations. The role involves responsibility for all IT infrastructure, hosting, disaster recovery, business continuity planning, technical consultancy, and future IT strategy. Reporting to the board you will manage the IT budget, maximise profit and seek to provide excellence.
Our client is a market leading and profitable software house who specialise in the supply of large scale solutions to the Corporate & Public Sector markets. Based in Surrey, the role will involve some UK travel. You will possess a successful track record in managing IT services, ideally with a systems provider, and have line management experience of teams operating in a similar environment.
You will possess a degree in a technical subject (ideally computing related) with professional accreditation. Experience gained in a Microsoft environment is essential. Our client is looking for an individual with strong drive and determination to achieve above expectations.
PLEASE NOTE that our client has very stringent educational requirements and will only consider candidates with an honours degree from a Times Top University, minimum 2:1, or equivalent, and strong A level results (A’s & B’s). Salary negotiable for the right individual. c£60,000 + excellent bonus + benefits
