ROLE: Senior Java/J2EE Developer – DBA SQL Server or Oracle DBA. Your role with this market leading software house will involve developing next generation Java/J2EE products on SQL Server and Oracle platforms optimising database design for performance and diagnostic performance issues. Working closely with several development teams you will be expected to deliver high quality solutions covering areas such as analysis, design, development, delivery & support.

PERSON: Educated to degree level (min Hons 2:1) with strong A level grades and SUN certification, you will have gained experience in a number of areas including analysis & design, development, test and documentation. You will possess strong DBA skills in either Oracle or SQL Server, with practical experience of performance tuning, including knowledge of PL/SQL or T-SQL plus OOD.
