Job: Ab Initio Developer, d2 Recruitment

An Ab Initio Developer is required to work with a leading global financial company based in Manchester.

My client is urgently looking for an Ab Initio Developer to join their team which is one of the largest organisations in the financial industry. The successful Ab Initio Developer will be responsible for the delivery of a number of different projects for business critical information.

You will be responsible for end-to-end design and development using Ab Initio as the ETL tool and reviewing Ab Initio graphs, although other responsibilities will include schedule monitoring, operational acceptance testing and change acceptance and implementation. You will have extensive experience of managing Teradata Data Warehouse technical operations (a Teradata Masters Certification would be highly desirable), strong SQL skills and a good working knowledge of the IBM Mainframe operation and Unix system administration.
