Job: Garment Technologist, Connections Employment Agency Limited

An excellent opportunity has arisen with a leading clothing importer for a Garment Technologist, to ensure product standards are adhered to and to meet customer satisfaction levels.Key duties for this position will include:Evaluating the workmanship, quality and construction of garmentsTesting of garments and trimsApproval of lab dipsPreparing and updating garment specsApproving Pre Production and Production samples to a commercial standardDeveloping care labels that meet regulation standardsTo for fill this position you must possess good communication skills as you will be liaising with many different departments including Designers, Merchandisers and sales.Communication with suppliers both in the UK and offshore on a daily basis is also a key part of this roleThe successful applicant must be computer literate. You will be required to have a good understanding of Microsoft systems including word, Excel and Email. Must have a minimum of 3 years experience
