Company:

Our client is a well established company who specialise in supplying energy, fuel and industrial lubricants in to businesses and homes across the UK, particularly commercial clients within agriculture, construction, retail, transport, industrial and ancillary sectors. Currently seeking to expand their established sales and account management team.

Role:

A full client account management role where you will act as single point of contact for your client base in a very autonomous sales role. Dealing with both outbound and inbound calls. Predominantly dealing with commercial business customers within some inbound sales enquires and requirements from domestic customers, dependant on the season. Extremely varied responsibilities within sales and client account development. Including proactive new business development, cold calling, establishing client need, managing and developing existing business, upselling cross selling, negotiating, overcoming objections and closing sales. As single point of contact you will also respond to all queries, organise client distribution, manage deliveries and deal with all client needs. Once through your initial induction and training period you will be given a base of potential contacts and will grow your business and client base from there. A primarily phone role with opportunities to meet and present to clients face to face to secure business or from a client development / relationship building perspective.

Requirements:

Proven internal / telesales / account management sales experience is essential due to the immediate demands of the role. Relevant sales experience gained in energy, technical, industrial or construction sectors would be ideal, however other industry backgrounds within either business to business sales or business to consumer sales will be considered if you have the required skills and understanding of the sales cycle. The ideal candidate will be extremely personable yet target focused with good communication skills. Experience of dealing with large client tenders and contracts is advantageous.

In return:

£16-20k basic, £19-25k 1st year OTE uncapped £30-35k 2nd year OTE + excellent sales training + incentives.
