Internal Account Manager/It sales

My client is a rapidly expanding organization based in Manchester. They are tightly focused and highly motivated independent solutions provider with many years experience in the development and management of IT solutions. They are looking to recruit internal account managers who have experience in generating new business opportunities.

The Role

-Contacting new companies with leads via the company database or from internal/external sales leads

-Identifying the company decision-maker, confirming sales appointments, supplying proposals and recommending manufacturer’s products

-They will also contact existing companies regarding further requirements.

-To achieve an agreed monthly sales target.

-To ensure systems are continually updated with all relevant, accurate customer information and pipeline.

-To complete all project management and sales documentation at all stages of the sales cycle as required.

-Responsible to identify any potential credit control issues with customers and make the finance team aware as early as possible.

-To ensure all products and services purchased on behalf of the customer are done so through the approved supplier list and through the agreed purchasing process.

The candidate

-At least 2 years industry knowledge

-An excellent telephone manner is essential and an outgoing friendly personality

-The candidate must be self-motivated, confident, punctual and reliable with a well-groomed appearance

-A full driving licence would be advantageous

-Experience in generating new business opportunities

-To be located in the Manchester area

In Return successful candidates will be offered a starting salary £24k, OTE £50k+
