Job: Commerical Claims Handler (Broker), Independent Appointments

Synopsis

A highly respected brokerage are looking to recruit a Commercial Claims Handler to join their North Manchester branch.

Job Profile

A Commercial Claims Handler is required by our Greater Manchester based client to deal with commercial claims including property and liability on behalf of the company. You will liaise with both insurers and clients on a daily basis to ensure that claims are handled as efficiently as possible. You will deal with the negotiation and settlement of commercial claims from initial advice to settlement and take full particulars from brokers/clients, arrange for completion of all documentation as necessary and give guidance relative to policy cover and limits etc as appropriate.

Applicant Requirements

We envisage that the successful candidate will possess at least 2 year’s experience handling cross class claims in either a broking or company environment, however we will accept applications from candidates of all levels of experience, who are able to demonstrate the necessary skills for the role. In addition the possession of excellent presentation, communication and team working skills will be a distinct advantage.
