A Manchester law firm are seeking for a Senior Commercial Litigation Solicitor/Partner to join their expanding department.

Job Profile

Our client is seeking a Senior Commercial Litigation Solicitor/Partner whose experience would ideally span banking and finance, cross-border disputes, information technology, contractual and warranty claims, regulatory enquiries, partnership and shareholder disputes, intellectual property, breach of confidence, injunctions, professional negligence, debt recovery and public law judicial reviews. This is an opportunity for an established individual within the Manchester Commercial Litigation community to take charge of their own department within this respected Legal 500 firm. This represents your own venture within a new office and so you would either need to bring your own client following or have considerable ability to act as a rainmaker.

Applicant Requirements

We envisage that the successful candidate will possess at least 10 year’s post qualified experience (PQE), however we will accept applications from candidates of all levels of experience, who are able to demonstrate the necessary skills for the role, with a willingness to gain exposure to, and an interest in commercial issues is essential as is an interest in dealing with issues and problems at a conceptual level. Your other attributes will include an ability to adopt a commercial perspective rather than an ‘academic' approach to legal issues, being team oriented and collegiate with a willingness to share knowledge with and support other members of the team. You will have excellent relationship and client handling skills and be able to deal confidently and professionally with clients on day to day issues.
