A vacancy has arisen in the IT department for a Business Systems Analyst Programmer, reporting to the Decision Support / Web Team Leader. The main purpose of this role is to develop database driven web solutions across the European Intranet, working with the business to deliver projects on time and to specification.

Responsibilities

Delivering web solutions across the European Intranet, ensuring developments follow the full project life cycle, are well structured and documented.

Provide technical support and system administration across the European Intranet CMS and Intranet applications.

Advise on Intranet best practice, accessibility, usability and design standards.

Engage and liaise proactively with the business on requirements. Identify opportunities provided by IT solutions and initiate change, where appropriate.

Skills and Experience

Successful candidates should be able to demonstrate the following:

Educated to degree level or equivalent, plus demonstrable practical experience, or equivalent capability / experience.
