Commercial Motor Trade Broker

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join on of the UK's leading brokers based in central Manchester as a commercial motor trade broker.

About the Role:

* Your role will be to focus on Motor Trade/Road Risk cases. By providing exemplary sales and service to new or existing customers, you will build profitable case count growth and generate premium income to agreed targets in line with the business plan.

* You will be a beacon of professionalism within the unit leading from the front in balancing the need for sustained profitable case count growth with the requirement for high standards of customer service throughout the policy lifecycle to ensure we achieve industry leading retention rates within the division.

* You will build effective and productive relationships with our panel of insurers and external suppliers ensuring customers are acquired and retained to our mutual benefit.

Key skills experience required:

* You will have a good technical knowledge of commercial motor insurance (specifically Motor Trade, Commercial Vehicle and Transit markets and products).

* You will have substantial professional customer sales, service and relationship building experience with non-rules driven and package commercial products.

* Comprehensive understanding of commercial underwriting principles coupled with the ability to accurately assess risks.

* You will have detailed understanding of small commercial business policy terms and conditions.

* Also a clear understanding of "Panel Insurers" business processes and administrative systems.

·Salary will be dependent upon experience
